Rawthmells, a coffeehouse which provides a location for small group meetings, entertainment and networking, has announced the launch of its new space.

Historically, Rawthmells was an 18th Century coffeehouse which aimed to solve everyday problems in a collaborative space.

The coffeehouse is situated on two floors of The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA House). The RSA House is also open to collaborations with corporate buyers who can hire the venue for several days.

The spaces are divided into various areas which can host meetings from 8.30am to 9pm and seat 12-75 people.

The collaboration room includes a large screen and an auditorium for presentations, which can be booked for up to 12 people. The library room is filled with research books available for on-site use.

Rawthmells also offers plugs for laptops and free Wi-Fi. It also offers customers the opportunity to use iPads to order from its menu, which is catered by CH&CO.

Rupert Outram, general manager, Rawthmells, said: “With eleven spaces at RSA House, we can host meetings with a number of break-out spaces for workshops and team-building.

“Using Rawthmells as a constant café where delegates can take breaks and eat and drink as they please, rather than being constrained to eating at specific times. It makes for the ultimate flexible venue and is suited to contemporary working styles.”
