The QEII Centre has announced it will host the Family Firm Institute’s (FFI) annual global conference, taking place on 21-22 October.
The conference will be held in The QEII Centre’s Churchill and Pickwick rooms and across the second floor.
The FFI aims to bring together the influential leaders in the field of family-owned companies.
FFI will work with academic host, Cambridge Judge Business School, to deliver the two-day in-person event titled ‘Shaping Futures: Evolve, Emerge, Engage’.
Delegates will be invited to attend keynotes from Fisk Johnson, chairman and CEO of SC Johnson, Christoph Loch, director of Cambridge Judge Business School and ‘futurenaut’ Mark Stevenson.
They will also have the opportunity to take part in breakout sessions covering areas of family business and celebrate the accomplishments of the FFI’s membership.
Catherine Cook, senior account manager at The QEII Centre, said: “For over 30 years, The Family Firm Institute has been the leading association worldwide for professionals involved in family enterprises and we are thrilled that it has chosen to host the in-person arm of its annual global conference at the QEII.
“We look forward to welcoming the organisers, speakers and delegates to our centre in October for two days of stimulating discussion and networking.”
Judy Green, president of FFI, added: “We selected the QEII Centre for this event due to its ideal location in Westminster, its excellent and flexible space, technological capabilities, and most recently its protocols related to safety for in-person events, particularly within the health guidelines in place due to Covid-19.”
