Since being launched by Prince Philip in October 2012, Prince Philip House, located on Carlton House Terrace, London, says it has experienced a 150 per cent increase in revenue.
Previously relating 60 per cent of its business to daytime conferences, Prince Philip House says it has seen a huge increase in evening events. Companies including Shell, BP, Rolls-Royce and Elsevier Publishing have all used the venue during 2013.
“Repeat business is already playing a big part for us in 2014, the Waitrose Christmas showcase will be going ahead again in July and we’re also excited to be hosting the second instalment of Prudential Ride London in August,” said Sales and Marketing Manager, Becci Thomson.
With the addition of new Head Chef Stuart Cooper, Prince Philip House has also seen an increase in fine dining events. Since starting in August, Cooper has put his own stamp on the venue by introducing a bespoke eight-course taster menu.
“We’re currently working on an invite-only fine dining evening in the Spring and next summer we’ll also be completely refurbishing the kitchen, which will give us an opportunity to introduce new equipment and cooking techniques,” said Thomson.
