etc.venues’ female leadership team got prime minister Theresa May’s personal backing on the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote.
Mrs May took time out in Manchester on 6 February to express her support for the team at the fast-growing event space host, etc.venues.
Speaking at the firm’s newest venue at 11 Portland Street in Manchester, the prime minister pointed out to venue manager Lynette Bayley and her team “how apt it was for her speech” that a woman was at the helm.
“The Prime Minister was very supportive of our newest conference space and smooth logistics, and wished us well in our significant move to invest in Manchester as our second venue outside London,” Bayley added.
etc.venues Manchester has 15 meeting rooms including a self-contained conference wing and views over the Manchester skyline. The group now has 16 venues and 275 meeting spaces mainly in London, but also now in Birmingham and Manchester, and specialises in the conference, meetings, training and event market. The group hosts over 770,000 delegates per annum.
