Pickled Walnut launches new venture, Pickle Me Quick

Liverpool-based event management agency Pickled Walnut has further expanded its business from its new base at The Florence Institute in Liverpool’s Dingle by launching ’Pickle Me Quick’.

Liverpool-based event management agency Pickled Walnut has further expanded its business from its new base at The Florence Institute in Liverpool’s Dingle by launching ’Pickle Me Quick’, a buffet business catering for working lunches and special events.

Pickled Walnut clinched the £1.2m deal to manage the café and event catering at The Florence Institute in October and has taken advantage of the venue’s location close to the city centre and its vast kitchens to expand the Pickled Walnut Group of businesses.

Pickle Me Quick will create nine jobs and will be managed by Gareth Jones, who has worked as Business Manager for the company for three years.

“These are exciting times for Pickled Walnut as our offering in all areas of the business continues to prove so successful,” says Brand Director for Pickled Walnut Group, Jamie Anderson (pictured). “Pickle Me Quick is a business model born out of our main business. It out grew our Birkenhead kitchens, so when the Florrie opportunity presented itself, it seemed like fate and an ideal time to launch this new venture.”

The new facilities will enable Pickled Walnut to build on its existing corporate lunch business. Local companies will be able to select from a range of buffet menus, all delivered to their office or private venue.
