A professional congress organiser has teamed up with a non-profit mediation institute to organise a series of international events.

The Kenes Group will supervise and coordinate the Global Pound Conference (GPC) Series 2016-17 for the International Mediation Institute.

More than 26 countries worldwide have committed to holding a GPC event, with more being added. The launch will take place at a two-day conference in Singapore, 17-18 March, 2016, with the last event scheduled for London in July 2017.

The PCO say the GPC Series is an example of Kenes’ ability to initiate, develop and build a meeting from the ground up.

A spokesman for the PCO said: “Kenes formulated a detailed strategic plan that included the meeting concept, objectives, target audience and more importantly, translating the GPC Series into a viable conference brand. All promotional and marketing activities, including real-time action and tasks, will be facilitated by Kenes and GPC stakeholders. The GPC Series will convene all stakeholders in dispute resolution – commercial parties, chambers of commerce, business executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, academics, judges, arbitrators, mediators, policy makers, government officials, and others – at conferences around the world. The Series will cover all forms of dispute resolution, as well as possible ways of combining them, and what choices disputants have today for resolving disputes. It will also look at how to provide access to appropriate justice systems for the future.”
