The Park Regis Birmingham hotel has signed an exclusive city centre hotel partnership with Walsall-based hospitality company Five Rivers to provide specialist catering services for Asian weddings and events.
The agreement follows the recent unveiling of the four-star deluxe Park Regis’s £850,000 conference and events space on the 16th floor.
The events space stretches over 488sqm and has floor-to-ceiling windows. It can accommodate weddings and events for up to 400 people. The affiliation with Five Rivers has led Park Regis to claim to be the only city centre hotel to offer authentic Indian food.
Hotel general manager Mark Payne said: “We are very excited to partner with Five Rivers, which provides exquisite, gourmet Asian catering for large-scale events. We’re incredibly proud of our new events space on Level 16 and working with Five Rivers will provide us with the opportunity to position Park Regis as the premium venue in the heart of the city for specialist weddings and events.”
Five Rivers group director Shamim HM expected the deal to raise the bar of specialist Asian events in Birmingham city centre.
“We are proud to have been chosen by Park Regis Birmingham to partner them in marketing and delivering specialist Asian events in this truly unique space,” she said.
Guests attending an event on Level 16 can enjoy their own dedicated ground-floor entrance.
