Pacific World makes UK staff appointments

Global event management and MICE player Pacific World, has recruited a new sales manager to be based in the UK.
 
Mark Searle has been appointed to focus primarily on the development of business to its EMEA destinations, reporting to Maria del Campo, head of sales for those regions.
 
“We carried out an extensive candidate search in the UK market and are delighted that Mark is joining our team,” said EMEA regional director Shaun Casey. “The combination of his MICE agency background and the knowledge he has gained of the destination management company offering in EMEA will strengthen our presence in the UK market.”
 
Casey said the timing of this appointment is significant as Pacific World has also recruited a number of new senior management staff, including Hannelore Carzon in Barcelona. “Now it is a question of connecting the dots,” he added.
