Academic Venue Solutions has welcomed Newcastle’s Northumbria University and Unique Venues Birmingham to their membership.
AVS is a consortium specialising in the promotion of academic venues for conferences and events. It is a not-for-profit company owned by the member venues, which combines member resources to deliver better value from their marketing.
Northumbria University offers a variety of spaces for conferences, formal dinners and exhibitions, from elegant period architecture in the Great Hall, to the Northern Design Centre in Gateshead, which offers a stylish multi-functional flat space.
Unique Venues Birmingham unites the conferencing and hospitality offerings within the shared building on Centenary Square in the heart of Birmingham. UVB boasts the largest adult education centre in the UK.
Natalie Williamson, general manager at Academic Venue Solutions, said: “We’re so proud to welcome these two very different academic venues to the membership.
