Make Events has hired three new staff members within its Cheshire office, on the back of what the agency says is its most successful year to date. The new staff bring the total permanent head count to 11.

Founder and managing director Holly Moore says year-end figures will be up 131%, following a brand reposition in June and new client wins including, The Hut Group, Puma and Swinton.

The new recruits include Amy Beresford as a senior creative producer. Having previously worked at Owl Live, Journey9 and as event director of the Northwest Football Awards, Beresford brings a strong understanding of the corporate events market.  She has also managed experiential campaigns and activations for leading global brands including Qatar Airways, Barratt Homes, Pets at Home, Manchester Airport Group and Jaguar cars.

Recently graduate Lucy Fegan also joins as a full time marketing executive following an internship with the agency.

The agency’s venue finding division has also welcomed a new member, Charlotte Russell, who began her journey with Make Events in 2016 through a period of work experience. Having travelled the world in her previous role she is well-versed in securing venues and destinations for clients in the UK and overseas.

Moore said: “We are recruiting at two levels now. Bringing in experienced talent and then supporting that with more junior members who have already proved they can uphold the Make Events values during their work experience.”
