The award-winning conference venue Horizon Leeds has received a very modern upgrade, updated with all the latest technology and electronics to pave the way for the business events industry.
The conference room has been equipped with a Windows 10 interface and a plug and play system (meaning no more laptops or wires), and an Avocor touch screen which allows speakers to annotate over documents and web pages, and alternatively use it as a white board at the end of presentations.
Furthermore, they are now moving away from non-reusable flipchart paper, thus helping to support Horizon’s commitment to the environment in being more sustainable with their resources.
Located in the large, vibrant city of Leeds, Horizon is found just south of the River Aire in Brewery Wharf, where there are remarkable views of the city centre.
Natalie Pitts, Deputy Venue Manager, commented: ‘I really believe we are moving to a more digital age of interactive training, and it’s exciting that we can provide this type of facility to our clients.’
‘We couldn’t be more pleased about the results of the refurbishment and we think that having a space such as this will be hugely beneficial for the city of Leeds.’
