A new events and conference centre, IXL Events Centre, has opened in Warwickshire. The £8.5m development is set within the 600-acre Stoneythorpe Estate, which is also home to Dallas Burston Polo Club.

The IXL Event Centre is available to host events including large-scale conferences, exhibitions, concerts, tradeshows, corporate entertaining and product launches and has space for 3,000 guests.

Event spaces include a main auditorium with elevates stage, retractable catwalk, retractable full size cinema screen and dance floor or exhibition areas; a range of meeting rooms with glass panelled aspect overlooking the auditorium; hospitality and VIP zones with wrap around outdoor terraces overlooking the polo SuperArena; exclusive bars and dining areas; and a purpose-built all-weather front portico. Within the complex, a number of alternative, fully catered venues are available for smaller, more intimate events.

“The UK, particularly Middle England seemed to be lacking in large scale leisure and business facilities and providing the Midland hub with such a venue was a goal which I’m proud to see is now being realised,” said owner, Dallas Burston. “I’m excited by the prospect of introducing IXL to both a national and international audience, while simultaneously building interest in the sport of polo.”
