Hilton London Metropole, which claims to be the UK’s largest conference hotel, has appointed Remco Norden as its new general manager.
Norden, who took up his new post on 1 July, brings with him 23 years of Hilton experience, which includes opening the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center.
A Dutch national, Norden was most recently at the 821-room Hilton London Gatwick Airport Hotel, where he had been general manager since 2016.
Of his new role, Norden said: “I am delighted to be joining the largest Hilton hotel in Europe, where I will be able to interact with a range of guests from across the globe, as well as work with the talented and professional team during the exciting times that lie ahead.”
