Toucan, the Wandsworth-based strategic storytelling consultancy, has appointed Rob Steeles as its first creative partner.

Steeles brings over 25 years’ experience of leading creative departments at AMV BBDO, McCann World Group, Kin+Carta, and Eleven Miles, shaping some of the world’s best-known brands, as well as a background in crafting compelling stories for, B2C, B2B, and internal clients.

With his passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of clients across various industries, Toucan believes Steeles is poised to enhance the agency’s ability to deliver work that not only challenges the narratives but focuses on changing behaviours too.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Rob Steeles to our Toucan family. He brings a wealth of experience and a humanistic approach in his leadership style. I’m confident Rob will add unrivalled value for our clients and am looking forward to introducing him to both existing and new projects on the horizon.”  Said Lynn Chambers, MD and founder of Toucan.

Steeles comments: “It’s become obvious to marketers that what matters today isn’t what you make, it’s the stories you tell, and how and where you choose to tell them. This role means a lot to me as I’ve always looked to create work that taps into people’s emotions. As Creative Partner, I’ll truly be able to do that while continually raising Toucan’s creative profile.”

Toucan’s clients include GSK, The Kings Fund, and Red Bull.
