Murray Edwards College, a college exclusively for women, has expanded its events team by the appointment of Freya Vaughan as its new events manager.
Vaughan will be responsible for leading a specialist team to deliver conferences, meetings, weddings and dinners.
Her role will also include providing a high quality and efficient events service for all of the College customers including students, Fellows, staff and external clients.
Vaughan is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has over ten years’ of experience within the events industry as a marketing & events officer and administrator at Murray Edwards and Clare College.
Vaughan said: “I am delighted to be leading such a dedicated team, all of whom have the skills and experience required to deliver high quality events and a first-class experience for customers. This is a great opportunity for me to consolidate the events offering here, to ensure that we continue to gain the trust of our ‘customers’ so they feel confident that every last detail is taken care of.”

She takes on the role at an important time in our events business; we completed 20 years of delivering professional events last year and are now taking that success to the next stage.”
