On the 9 November, The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre hosted MPI UK & Ireland Chapter’s event on event technology with hands-on demonstrations.
The ‘Generation Y’ demographic is an influential attendee audience and new industry workforce, that has grown-up with evolving technologies much of which they expect as ‘standard’ at events such as free Wi-Fi, Smartphone applications, e-ticketing, social event gaming (gamification) and augmented reality pre- and during the event.
The seminar and expert speakers dissected the technology that is driving the modern meeting and events industry and helped delegates to understand what the future holds and how to be the most effective in making evolving technologies a reality for their business.
