Laura Moody has bought back Blondefish from the administrators of event management companies Mayridge Group and Mayridge Ltd.
On 21 January 2016, Chris Pole and Mark Orton from KPMG were appointed administrators of Mayridge which was declared insolvent on 20 January.
Moody had been appointed MD of Mayridge as part of a restructure last year. She had joined the live events firm in early 2014 as group commercial director when Mayridge acquired Blondefish.
Mayridge and Blondefish had operated as two distinct and separate business units, a live events company and an event technology agency.
Moody claimed Blondefish had remained profitable throughout its time under Mayridge ownership. “We are looking forward to continuing to deliver the very best in event technology solutions and expertise,” said Moody.
