On Monday night (5 December 2011) 250 event industry professionals welcomed in the festive season at the annual industry Christmas party ‘Mistletoe’. Donations at the event and ticket sales raised £550 for event industry charity, Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN).
The event was jointly hosted for members by meeting and event associations the International Special Events Society, Meeting Professionals International and Society of Incentive and Travel Executives at the Christ Church Spitalfields in London.
Caterer The London Kitchen showcased its canape skills, Temple and Shian provided the nitrogen and dry ice dessert bar, Clink Clink Bars provided the drinks and Absolute Events provided the design and production of the evening. There was also a wine tasting from Hungarian Food and Drink.
Entertainment came in the form of the cross-dressing Globe Girls and their comical songs, singer Sandra Marvin and band, Wandering Hands. There was even some Christmas carols as the night went on.
Globestar Management organised the entertainment from singer Sandra Marvin and the Globe Girls. And how else do you conclude a Christmas Event in a Church Community Carol Singing got everyone engaged and added to the fun.
