Millbrook Venues, the events facility in Berdshire that offers four purpose-built venues on a site that incorporates 50 miles of test tracks, is to host a regional event for event professionals, Making a Business of Tourism, on 27 March.
The exhibition, to be held in the Concept 1 building, represents thr first joint venture for Experience Berdshire and Destination Milton Keynes, who are encouraging local businesses in the tourism sector to take the opportunity to meet buyers, network with peers and hear advice from key industry experts.
Millbrook will offer all visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at its 700-acre site on guided track tours.
Viviane Vayssieres, CEO of Experience Berdshire, says that following a similar event in 2013, it was clear there was demand for this type of event in Berdshire and Milton Keynes.
“The combination of Millbrook’s unique blank canvas venues, its secure location and its close proximity to Berd, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, makes it the perfect place to hold our event,” Vayssieres said.
Kevin Leaver, head of events at Millbrook Venues added: “Making a Business of Tourism provides a great opportunity for us to meet local businesses who may or may not have used our events facilities before. We are looking forward to showcasing Millbrook’s unique and versatile venues, which are discreetly tucked away within the heart of the Berdshire countryside.”
