Microsite launch for Manchester United’s events product

Live events agency, WRG, has used the latest digital technology to enhance a microsite for Manchester United FC’s events destination, United Events.

Clients hoping to book space at the venue can now view the range of facilities on their iPad or iPhone, on which the microsite will combine with the device’s accelerometer so the view of the room will change as the iPad moves.

In addition, a custom search facility means room stock can now be searched, based on either capacity or layout.

Nadine Callan, Venue Marketing Manager at Manchester United, says: “WRG has used cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience of our website. The technological development of the microsite will enable event organisers across the globe to virtually recce the facilities at Old Trafford for celebrations, events, exhibitions, conferences and business meetings before booking their perfect venue. It is a fantastic development for United Events.”
