The miaList remains free to enter with nominations welcome from anyone working within, or associated with, the UK’s business meetings and events sector, with the exception of the individual titles which are exclusive to MIA members.
Nominations will be assessed by an expert panel of judges spanning all reaches of the sector. For all team and initiative awards, there will also be an additional judging stage in which those shortlisted by the panel will be subject to a weighted public vote.
Shonali Devereaux, chief executive of the MIA, said: “The miaList is a well-established and much-anticipated celebration of excellence within our sector and I’m excited to lead the process as CEO for the first time. It’s a powerful reminder of the incredible talent, innovation and resilience across our sector and I’m looking forward to celebrating those who continue to inspire and drive us forward.”
The awards will be presented after the trade association’s MIA conference. Nominations will close at 23:59 on 13 June and the shortlist will be announced on 24 July.
