The Meetings Industry Association (mia) has appointed Sandra Eyre as director of business development.
The appointment will see Eyre, who joins from Birmingham’s NEC Group, report directly to mia chief executive Kerrin MacPhie.
In her new role, Eyre will be responsible for helping mia achieve its membership growth, accreditation and sponsorship targets.
MacPhie said: “Sandra’s role will be essential to meet our aims and ambitions as we seek to further grow the mia and its value to members while delivering more industry insight and providing guidance on the issues important to the sector.”
