Arizona-based small meetings venue finder and sales service MeetingsIn has acquired web channel MEETING the World from Meetings Review for an undisclosed sum. Meetings Review was itself bought by US-based Questex in a consortium involving MeetingsIn last year.
The new owners say MEETING the World will feature a mix of blog and documentary-style video on international destinations. MeetingsIn says it also intends to expand the site’s content.
Commenting on the launch, MeetingsIn Chief Executive Ian Quartermaine (pictured), said: “We saw MEETING the World as the jewel in the Meetings Review crown. It will now become the focal point for the MeetingsIn group and we are keen to use the content generated here to add much more value and depth to our existing proposition”.
