The MICE industry charity, Meeting Needs, has appointed Christopher Parnham, chief strategy officer at veSpace, as its new chair.
Chris Peacock, director of Conference Care will step down and Parnham will take over effective 1 June.
Lene Corgan, vice-chair of Meeting Needs, said: “It’s been a pleasure working alongside Chris Peacock, who has done a great job engaging a growing board of trustees and he is leaving the charity in a great place.”
Parnham’s previous experience includes acting as head of global events at Barclays Bank, managing director at Zibrant and Absolute Corporate Events (ACE).
In 2020, he went on to launch Absolute Digital Communications (ADC). In 2021, ACE and ADC merged with Venues and Events International. Parnham then led the rebrand project which created veSpace.
