Meet Gloucester, an event-oriented destination marketing partnership for Gloucester, launched on Friday at MEET South West.
The partnership consists of venues, hotels and suppliers from Gloucester who collectively create a platform for corporate clients searching for a destination for their event.
The partnership launched today at MEET South West, a trade show which brings together suppliers, venues, agencies and buyers for an opportunity to network and learn from industry professionals.
Marketing Gloucester and Gloucester Council has supported Meet Gloucester by providing its initial digital support and seed funding.
Local partners who have also developed the concept of Meet Gloucester includes Hatton Court Hotel, Bowden Hall Hotel, Gloucester Rugby and Soaring Worldwide.
Colin Organ, Mayor of Gloucester, commented: “Gloucester is a vibrant and fast developing city with huge potential for growth within the meetings and events industry.
