Mandy Jennings has been appointed executive director of Venues of Excellence consortium. She will work alongside the association’s board and on a strategic plan to reach 50 members by 2020.
Jennings, the principal of venue and hotel sales, training and representation agency Paje Consulting, has 25 years’ experience in hotel and conference centre sales and marketing and has previously handled business development and membership on behalf of the consortium.
David Vaughton, MD of EEF Venues and chairman of Venues of Excellence comments: “We have seen unprecedented growth in membership over the last two years, much of which has been driven by Mandy’s expertise and her focus on achieving the consortium’s objectives following the strategic repositioning of our brand in 2016.
This critical appointment will enable Mandy to maintain this encouraging momentum and the board is delighted that Mandy has accepted this role and look forward to working with and supporting her.”
