Manchester Live! 2013 signs up Lesley Garrett to perm

English soprano singer and musician, Lesley Garrett, has been signed up to perm at the fourth annual Manchester Live! 2013 destination showcase.
 
Garrett will follow Russell Watson, Alison Moyet and Mica Paris, who have all permed at previous Manchester Live! events.
 
Manchester Live! will take place during The Meetings Show UK on Wednesday, 10 July at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly.
 
Garrett made her name through opera permances around the world and has enjoyed a diverse career on both stage and screen, notably for her impact on ‘cross-over’ music.
 
She sang the British national anthem on the Champs-Élysées in Paris last year after Bradley Wiggins won the Tour de France and has recently returned to opera with the monodrama La Voix humaine for Opera North.
 
Those invited to attend Manchester Live! will have the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from 30 venues from across the Greater Manchester region.
