Manchester City Football Club has teamed up with its official gaming Partner, EA Sports, to create an interactive Gaming Box inside a traditional 8ft x 11ft entertaining space at the Etihad Stadium.
Able to accommodate 10 people, the Gaming Box offers EA Sports’ latest gaming releases, including the latest version of FIFA 13.
The box boasts luxury gaming chairs, 42” screen, PS3 gaming console. It also offers a panoramic view of the pitch.
Justice Ellis, Marketing Manager at Manchester City, said: “The new EA Sports Gaming Box offers an unrivalled combined experience for football and gaming fans; to reward, treat or for special occasions.”
The EA Gaming Box launch means Premier League Champions City have started the season with a hat trick in venue hospitality, including the introduction of the new Connell Club, and the Mancunian entertainment space.
The upgraded Connell Club offers fine dining for up to 220 guests and the suite includes five ‘ambassador booths’ for a more intimate dining experience.
The new hospitality space delivers a younger, modern feel to reflect the iconic music scene born out of Manchester. Combining football and music themes, the space presents bespoke art installations celebrating a player or key moment in the club’s history alongside quotes and lyrics from Manchester’s music powerhouse.
