Manchester Central has signed a deal that sees the largest specialist meeting in the UK dental calendar head to the northern venue in September.
The 27th British Orthodontic Conference 2013 will come to Manchester, 19-21 September, and is set to attract 1,200 delegates from across the profession, with national and international speakers talking about industry research and clinical practice. It will be the first time the three-day conference has come to Manchester Central.
“This conference will attract the leading professionals in the business and will cover some cutting-edge research so I am delighted that Manchester Central has been chosen to host such an important event,” says Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Manchester Central.
Simon Littlewood, Conference Chair, adds: “The British Orthodontic Conference is the most important date in the calendar for orthodontic providers in the UK, so it is key that we have a top quality venue to reflect this. We are therefore delighted to be holding the 27th annual conference of the British Orthodontic Conference at Manchester Central.”
Manchester Central underwent a three-year, £30m redevelopment, which was completed in 2012 and was partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
