Manchester Central has launched its third podcast series for event professionals.

The latest ‘Central Chat’ podcast series will feature ten episodes and is aimed at supporting event industry professionals in their career development.

Throughout the series, there will be discussions about the return of events, how the industry has embraced getting back to business, upcoming trends and how to overcome challenges in the profession.

To begin the series, host Samantha Pike-Devlin speaks to Jack Thompson, technical director at Manchester International Festival. The festival was one of the first events held at Manchester Central after the venue reopened in July.

Episode two features guest Tim Else, founder and MD at What Else Events and organiser of Safety, Health & Wellbeing Live.

Finally, Heather Lishman, association director at the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO), will be the guest on episode three; talking about the Festival of Learning and how ABPCO membership works.

Shaun Hinds, CEO at Manchester Central, said: “We are really excited to launch the next series of our podcast and delve into some really interesting conversations about how events of the future will take shape. “As the industry goes from strength to strength, we can’t wait to chat to some exciting guests about getting back to business, with the hope of sharing knowledge and insights that will provide advice and support to event professionals who are planning their next big event.”

Manchester Central’s podcast is available to listen to on centralchat.buzzsprout.com.
