Manchester Central has expanded its team. The exhibition and conference venue has appointed Ruth Halliday and Danielle Kidron in sales account manager roles, with Kidron overseeing public sector client accounts, while Halliday joins the Corporate Sales Team.

Both Halliday and Kidron bring extensive knowledge of Manchester to their roles, having spent two years working as part of Manchester Town Hall Complex Events.

Sarah Copas and Dean Meehan also join the venue’s Events Team as event manager and senior event manager respectively.

Meehan comes to Manchester Central after spending 10 years working at The O2 in London – the latter six as venue manager and leader of the Guest Relations department.

Copas began her role as event manager at the end of 2017, having previously organised a number of large-scale exhibitions and events for higher education body, UCAS.

Shaun Hinds, CEO of Manchester Central, said: “I am so proud to lead such a fantastic team at Manchester Central and these new appointments are no exception.

“A world-class venue attracts world-class talent and I’m looking forward to working with our new sales and events colleagues as we continue to provide an outstanding backdrop for some of the world’s leading events.”
