On Tuesday night (22 November), the four-star Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa, Falkirk celebrated its completion of a £4m investment with a charity dinner.
The dinner was by Donald Macdonald, Chairman of Macdonald Hotels and Resorts and guest speaker Bruce Crawford MSP. A charity auction was held to raise funds in aid of the Duncan Hospital Charitable Trust and the Strathcarron Hospice. It raised £39,000.
The multi-million pound investment was made across the hotel’s leisure, conference and business facilities. The hotel has 98 bedrooms, conference facilities, including the 750-capacity Inchyra Suite and a new £2.3m Vital Health and Wellbeing Club and Spa.
“The investment is part of an ongoing investment across the hotel group and it is a further reflection of our firm commitment to provide leisure, business and conference guests with the highest standards of product and service,” said Macdonald. http://www.conference-news.co.uk/news/2011/03/03/Macdonald-Hotels–Resorts-pushing-ahead-with-16m-brand-investment/2880
