Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP), a collection of unusual, sporting and cultural venues throughout the UK & Ireland, is to provide greater regional contact support for booking agents across the UK.

LVP’s venue-based sales teams will be harnessed to provide the face-to-face contact for agents who are often not situated geographically close to the venues they are booking.

Jo Austin (pictured), Head of Venue Sales at Lime Venue Portfolio, said: “We enjoy successful relationships with many of the UK’s largest agents and really understand and value their business. Over the last 12 months we identified that, as a portfolio, we have seen in excess of £2m of business being delivered through smaller local agents and have committed to deliver an improved service and increased communication through a single local point of contact to help these agents reach unusual venues across the UK.”

Anita Galea, Director of Bolton-based Pacific 7, said: “Lime Venue Portfolio’s local agent initiative is a great way for us to maximise our reach by tapping into their network of unusual venues. We were contacted by Jenni Weisberg from the Chill Factore in Manchester and are now working with Lime Venue Portfolio on an event we are organising in London. The support we have received is invaluable.”

Lime Venue Portfolio includes Twickenham Stadium, Edgbaston, Edinburgh Zoo, Dartmouth House, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Ricoh Arena.
