Lime Venue Portfolio, a collection of unique and sporting venues throughout the UK, has launched a website and sales
resource specifically for the Irish domestic and inbound market.
Already established in the UK with over
100 venues, the portfolio says it “is spreading its wings across Irish waters”.
Overseen by the portfolio’s Sales and Marketing
Manager, Cailin Keaney, the new website will engage with agents and corporate
clients and will be promoted through sales calls and linkings to industry
websites.
Corporate meetings, conference and
events, as well as private milestone celebrations including weddings and
charity events, will be the core focus for business.
Lime Venue Portfolio already boasts five
properties in Ireland including the Aviva Stadium, Leopardstown
Racecourse, the Law Society at Blackhall Place, Fairyhouse
Racecourse and Tattersalls Country House.
“Dublin as a meetings and events
destination is firmly on the map due to the quality of their facilities,
service and the good value of their offering,” Head of Sales for Lime Venue
Portfolio in the UK, Jo Austin, said. “The new website will enable event
planners and organisers to have a closer look at our Irish meetings and events
spaces and choose the one that best fits their requirements.”
Lime Venue Portfolio is a subsidiary of
Compass Group UK and Ireland, a food and support services company, which
generated annual revenues of £15.8bn in the year to 30 September 2011, with £1.95bn of revenue in the UK and Ireland.
