Sharon O’Connor (pictured) has been appointed group meetings & events revenue development Manager for LHMUK.

She will be charged with developing the 21-hotel portfolio’s team of M&E managers across Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza brands, to ensure that they are meeting sales standards.

Commenting on her new role, O’Connor said, “I am delighted to lead the meetings and events revenue across the group. LHMUK really do offer some of the best MICE facilities in the country, as shown in the 2017 VenueVerdict Award results, and I am excited to continue to help each hotel maximise their M&E potential which is a key focus for the business across the group.”

LHMUK managing director Simon Teasdale, added: “We are thrilled to promote Sharon to this new position. Having joined us in 2016, she has quickly shown her ability to drive and develop sales teams as well as building revenue performance across the group. We look forward to seeing her build on her success and achieve even greater goals for 2018 and beyond.”
