In a new partnership, the UK Centre for Events Management (UKCEM) at Leeds Becket University and full-service event production specialist Sparq, also based in the city, have joined forces with the goal of elevating the student experience.
Sparq produces national and international live, virtual and hybrid events while UKCEM is a leader in events management education, delivering courses for over 25 years.

The focal point of this collaboration is the development of an enhanced Event Production module. This will provide students with an immersive educational journey in a multipurpose venue, while benefiting from Sparq’s expertise. The idea is for the module to bring together physical event builds, imaginative event activations, embedded software as a service, facilitated lateral thinking and critical debate within a controlled, yet intense, period of assessment.
