The event is designed to help eventprofs learn more about the industry and to plan out their career journey, covering: marketing, sales, operations, and creative roles with insight on to how to pursue each route. Panel sessions will be covering topics such as ‘Switching career paths in the event industry’ a session with Simon Mills, executive director, ExCel London and Pauline Fischer, manager, Global Accounts at HelmsBriscoe.

Another session highlight is ‘What it takes to organise and deliver big events’ and in this session the panel will discuss what skills are needed to deliver big festivals, exhibitions and corporate events such as Taste of London; Top Gear Live and Fast and Furious Live. Matt Franks, director of events at DRPG, will also talk about the changing face of internal corporate events and the new skills required as they become more like festivals.
