London City Selection (LCS), a consortium of London venues which work together to win event business, has announced its 2012/2013 Board, to be chaired by Ed Bolling from Ironmonger’s Hall.
Bolling will be joined by Diane Waldron from HAC as Deputy Chair, Anthony Hyde from Barbican Centre as Chair Finance, Aimee Luxton from the Brewery as Chair Marketing, Sarah Mcqueen from Searcys at the Gherkin as Deputy Chair Marketing, Brendon Smith from ETC. Venues as Chair Membership, Greg Knight, from Doubletree by Hilton as Deputy Chair Membership, Angela Myles from Crowne Plaza Shoreditch as Chair Events and Janice Shapiro from One Moorgate Place as Deputy Chair Events.
Current Chair, Samme Allen from the Barbican, will step down at the end of June but will remain active within the consortium and will be the International Ambassador for LCS.
Incoming Chair Ed Bolling said: “The development of the consortium over the past two years has been a great success and has included a brand evolution, website and referral improvements plus the most successful agency FAM weekend to date resulting in over £200,000 worth of enquiries for our member venues.
“I’m delighted to be leading the consortium through the Games and beyond to ensure that the City remains a leading destination for meetings and events.”
