Got a question for our industry association leaders?
Conference News is offering a final chance for meeting planners, conference organisers and corporate and agency events professionals to join our 100-strong audience already registered for the show at Olympia Conference Centre tomorrow night (22 November). Come and just listen or put your point across directly to six of the UK meetings industry’s association chiefs, together on stage for the first time.
Conference Question Time will have the leaders of the Meetings Industry Association, the Hotel Booking Agents Association, the International Special Events Society UK, Meeting Professionals International UK & Ireland Chapter, the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers and Eventia ready on stage at 5.45pm. There will also be some networking time pre- and post-event.
Initial questions to kick off the evening to be put to the panelists by CN Editor Paul Colston and facilitator Richard John include: ‘Do we have too many industry associations?’ and ‘Are politicians listening to us?’.
The rest of the agenda is up to our audience on the night, so apply to come and tell us what you think will be the hot topics for 2013 and quiz our association leaders on their attitudes to the issues that matte most to you.
