Land’s End Hotel is launching a new conference and meetings venue using its unique place in Olympic history to challenge delegates to succeed like Team GB.

The most south westerly tip of the UK mainland was the venue for the start of this year’s Olympic torch relay, with sailor Ben Ainslie carrying the flame from the famous signpost.

The newly-launced facility for conferences, meetings and events is part of a £3m investment programme and the site is available from 1 September.

The venue caters for 100 delegates and adjoins a 30-bedroom hotel and restaurant with views across the Atlantic Ocean to the Longships Lighthouse and Isles of Scilly beyond.

“Conference organisers and delegates now have a unique opportunity to tap into the ’can do’ mentality of our Olympians, including Ben Ainslie, and the other remarkable people associated with Land’s End to help achieve things for themselves and their businesses,” says General Manager at Land’s End, David Bryans.

“Land’s End is the perfect environment for creativity, innovative problem solving, planning strategy and blue sky thinking,” he adds.

With 100 acres of natural landscape and coastline Land’s End also offers teambuilding opportunities.
