Kenes Group has become the first professional conference organiser (PCO) to be approved by gCMEp, a provider of CPD education.

gCMEp adheres to a set of guidelines and code of practice that ensures each CPD activity (for example congresses) complies with the intent of good CPD practice.

Keith Foley, Managing Director of Kenes Education, says: “It would be an understatement to say that a tsunami is now overwhelming accreditation and compliance for medical meetings and many of us in our industry will start feeling the effects soon. This is one of the reasons why we set up Kenes Education. We want to be knowledgeable and proactive in order to help our clients navigate the ever-changing waters of CME and compliance.

“Being accepted by gCMEp is an important part of that process and we hope to show how PCOs can contribute to that goal.”

Eugene Pozniak of gCMEp says: “Kenes has been proactive in working with us to expand the scope of the gCMEp Group, in particular now that so much is changing in the area of accreditation and compliance in Europe. We welcome Kenes as the first PCO member in this important phase of our development into an open membership organisation.”
