Jupiter Hotels has donated £240,000 to Breast Cancer Care as part of the group’s charity partnership programme. The sum was raised through staff donations, guest incentives and auction events at the 27 Mercure and 2 Holiday Inn properties, managed by Jupiter Hotels, across the UK.

Jupiter Hotels has worked with Breast Cancer Care for five years and the large cheque marks the final chapter of the partnership.

Megan Hewlett, account manager, Breast Cancer Care said: “It’s been a real pleasure working with Jupiter Hotels over the years, we are really grateful to all of the hotels, staff and guests who have enthusiastically given their time and money to support our services. This incredibly generous cheque is going to ensure that we can continue to provide care, support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer in the UK.”

Jupiter Hotels’ policy is to rotate its charity partners every few years and, for 2018 and beyond, they have announced a new charity partnership with Rays of Sunshine, a national children’s charity. Jupiter Hotels own and operate 29 multi branded hotels in the UK.
