Event services supplier Joe Manby has made four new appointments to its event management and design divisions. The new hires follow recent retirements at the company.
Ciara O’Grady has joined the company as Event Manager, after previously working behind the scenes at events including the Olympic and Paralympic games, the British Open, the Melbourne Grand Prix and the Edinburgh Fringe and Film Festival.
“I am thrilled to be joining Joe Manby, a company that has a fantastic reputation in the world of events,” said O’Grady. “I aim to help to continue to deliver successful event services.”
Sam Ahmadi moves from his role as designer in the company to the position of Event Co-ordinator. He joined the company in 2007 after gaining a degree in design at Leeds Metropolitan University and has been closely involved in recent developments in both the company’s design capabilities and the development of the company’s new website.
In addition, Rachel Swarbrick joins the company as a designer, where she will be working with clients on 3D visuals and 2D floor design layouts for exhibition stands, feature areas and floor plans. Meanwhile, Fran Heaton joins the team as Event Administrator.
