Events organiser ITE is reportedly considering a £300m bid for fellow events business Ascential.
The Sunday Times reports Ascential launched a ‘strategic review’ of its exhibitions business earlier in 2018, and that several suitors are to have shown interest.
When asked by CN if an acquisition was being considered, ITE declined to comment.
London-listed ITE would be obliged to inform the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
