Events industry body Isla has has appointed two new advisory board members.
Kate Vandenburg, marketing and communications director at the Business Design Centre and John Ryan, owner and director of bespoke exhibition builders woodfashioners, will move into the venue and event service business representative positions respectively.
The appointments were announced at isla’s first member AGM earlier this week.
The pair replace outgoing advisory board members Stewart Green, global sustainability director at Gentrack Ltd, and Amy King, head of exhibitions and events at ASM Global.
Jason Megson, advisory board chair and managing director of Freeman EMEA, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome both Kate and JJ to the advisory board.
