On 16 July the International Special Events Society UK unveiled its new board and celebrated an eventful year with a summer party befitting the weather, as 130 guests joined the association in London at Dutch Hall for the special evening.
As Philip Atkins passed over the baton and welcomed Jane Hague as new ISES UK President, the evening was an opportunity to look forward to the coming year with some exciting new initiatives announced as well as growth of new member organisatons. A spritely party followed for members and industry peers to network and celebrate at the Grade II listed building, exclusively represented by Industri Management.
Table Talk catered for the evening with a menu including hot and cold canapés of home smoked mackerel in a beetroot cone, horseradish cream, fresh apple and daikon shoots; gravadlax of chermoulah salmon on spiced blini with preserved lemon and coriander yoghurt; duck confit and kataifi lollipops with liquid cherry centre; fritto misto; steak, egg and chips along with desserts of mixed berry and champagne shooters and salted caramel lollies.
In addition, Hidden Door supplied drinks and cocktails throughout the evening with the venue transformed with lighting and furniture by White Light and The Hire Business.
