International Confex announces Association Day

UBM Live, organiser of International Confex, has unveiled an ‘Association Day’ educational conference aimed specifically at buyers and planners of association run events.
 
Combining practical workshops with speakers, the Association Day programme will allow delegates to pick and choose sessions they feel most relevant, with subjects ranging from employment law, VAT, procurement, the Bribery Act, subvention and the pharmaceutical market.
 
Associations already signed up to the conference at Excel London on 6 March include the Medical Protection Society, British Medical Association, Biochemical Association, Hire Trade Alliance, British Hypertension Society and the Management Consultancies Society.
 
“The association market continues to be a critical sector to the UK events industry and we’re delighted with the quality of content on show during Association Day,” said Jonny Sullens, Portfolio Director, Confex Group.
 
“Visitors to Confex come for two reasons; great education and great exhibitors; association planners will have both in abundance this year.”
