Kayleigh Linklater, sales manager at Warwick Conferences, has been appointed as the latest European board associate for the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC).

The IACC is the only global professional association which represents small to medium sized venues that host meetings, training courses and conferences.

The appointment follows an in-depth application process which included an interview process and meeting with IACC CEO, Mark Cooper.

Linklater now joins the European leadership team for a two-year period during which she will help identify emerging trends and bring a millennial perspective to the board, and support annual conference planning groups, including the 2024 IACC Conference and the Better Tomorrow Initiative.

During her tenure, Linklater will also work alongside the outgoing board associate for the first year, and incoming board associate for the second year, before presenting a final report of her observations and experiences following this period.

Linklater said: “I am really looking forward to working with so many respected leaders from the sector whilst learning as much as I can along the way.”

Cooper added: “We believe that this will be an extremely worthwhile and rewarding experience for Kayleigh and will provide IACC with valuable insights into emerging trends that we all face as well as help to address our ongoing commitment to leadership development.”
