Meetings travel management agency Inntel has expanded its client portfolio through an outsourcing agreement with London-based independent hotel and venue booking agency Hotelworld.
Inntel says the acquisition adds buying power to its existing operations and introduces Hotelworld clients such as Age UK and blood cancer charity Antony Nolan to Inntel’s strong portfolio.
“The addition of Hotelworld’s clients will bring greater strength and scale to our UK-focused corporate meetings, accommodation and travel business,” says MD of Inntel, Douglas O’Neill. “In a changing market we are always on the lookout to acquire businesses which will fit in with our strong, client-focused culture and enable our growth in coming years.”
Inntel says all of Hotelworld’s main clients have chosen to appoint Inntel as their provider, in recognition of the increased leverage of buying power, technology and flexibility to provide bespoke online booking tools and management information that it offers.
Lynton Hickie, Head of Procurement at Age UK, one of Hotelworld’s clients, adds: “We have been delighted with the speed and flexibility with which Inntel responded to our requirements. The working relationship quickly established between Inntel and our key stakeholders is excellent.”
