London-based brand and agency consultancy Ingenuity has acquired Reg&Co, a consultancy specialising in sponsorships, run by founder and CEO Karen Morris and director Stu Richmond (pictured). The deal will see Morris and Richmond reporting to Chris Kemp, CEO of Ingenuity. Full value of the deal was not disclosed.

Founded in 2003, Reg&Co, previously known as BrandMeetsBrand, has a client roster including Somerset House, TfL, British Gymnastics, and Photo London.

With offices also in Glasgow, Leeds, and Manchester, Ingenuity is on a growth strategy, following the acquisition of Future Factory last year.

The acquisition of Reg&Co is expected to enhance the brand partnerships division at Ingenuity, led by managing partners Chris Wilson and Hugo Bennett.

Commenting on the deal, they said: “We have always admired the work that Reg&Co does in the sector and know working with the team will be instrumental in the continued evolution of our Brand Services offering.”

Chris Kemp, CEO, and founder of Ingenuity added: “Ingenuity will continue to offer the whole ecosystem of services that we always have, but now we will be primed to reach a broader range of clients than ever before.”

While Karen Morris said: “I am confident this deal will do fantastic things for Reg&Co, for Ingenuity, and most importantly for our clients.”
